On April 19, 2011, I flew down to Nashville, TN to go see Lady Gaga at the Bridgestone Arena. Boy was I excited.

It's like a Broadway musical dance party. Definitely worth checking out even if you aren't a die heart fan.

Shit Is Awesome

Wow this is the best news ever!!  Across the pond, there is a newly airing show called Sing If You Can,  It is basically a singing version of the HILARIOUS show,Wipeout. 

 So instead of people going through an obstacle course and falling, contestants will be try to sing while ignoring distractions such as a specially designed volcano or while having one's chest waxed.  

Immediately I am picturing this show is going to be like, Steve Carell singing Kelly Clarkson while he is getting his chest waxed. I really hope a network picks up this show.

SPORTS!!!

There has been a heated debate on whether or not sporting events should still be live. The strongest argument against why games shouldn't be live is:

I personally don't agree with their argument. People curse especially athletes.

He needs to get slapped

After reading numerous articles about Justin Timberlake's promiscuity and attitude on sets, I have come to the following conclusion:

This boy needs to slapped or life needs to throw him a shitty hand. 

He has been acting like a cocky-ass mother fucker and it needs to stop.  His ego was in the twilight zone when he walked on set during the filing of (one of my favorite films,) The Social Network. 

 

He has been in a few films before,  but they break any box office numbers. Since he has worked with some of the best, its understandable to have a bit of an ego about that. I would proud of creating, a Halloween Costume classic. 

 

What I have a problem is because everything he is a part of turns to gold, he believes he could have sex with anyone he wants. While being in a long-term relationship with Jessica Biel. That is just not sexy. He has been teasing her heart.  If you feel the urge to cheat or to attempt to cheat, you should probably break-up. It is the worst thing in the world to find out that the boyfriend you thought was going to purpose, cheated and the world knows.

I am pretty sure his mama raised him right.  Either:

• his ego is actually goes to the twilight zone, 
• he is having an early mid-life crisis,  
• he is freaked-out about the prospect of marriage, 
• or maybe its Cameron Diez or someone else broke his heart 

I really don't care what the explanation is, just bring back the Justin with or just leaving N'SYNC  except with the style of his current asshole state. He may dress better now but he more down to earth back then. Just make it work.

 

  

Former Disney Darling

Lindsay Lohan been on the to recovery. For once she actually took court-ordered rehab, community service and AA attendance seriously.  You can tell because in the past few weeks, there hasn't been a headline about her being under the influence of...something.  This actress has been to hell and is slowly making her way back. That is why I am not a huge fan of this South African ad for Exclusive Books.

Funny Too

This month, Corona launched a new ad campaign in Madrid, Spain. And well.... they were too funny to keep to myself. Can you guess what the theme is?

What attracts me to this campaign is the fact that Executive Creative Director, Miguel Bemfica, created a way to combine humor with social responsibility.  Everyone has (or will) a drunken mishap story in there life. (Probably more than one.)  Also, no one likes the person that takes things a little bit too far when they are drunk....

Drink responsibly or you’ll regret what you said last night. 

Even though  ad below isn't part of the series, I am sucker for clever humorous ads that are relate able.  It felt right to include this French advertisement in this post because there is similar type of humor in the Corona ads. 

 

Creating Disney Discussions

i recently had a meeting with my senior adviser. I was able to leave our meeting with something besides emotions. My adviser showed me the site his son played a part in creating.  I have already spent hours on the site despite the fact I only learned about it yesterday.  Convonation.com allows users to connect through ideas. Its really hard to explain. But worth checking out!!

Another way I have found a way to share Disney and other information is through the site called pearltrees.com. The site is basically a way to bookmark & organize things people stumpleupon or topics they find interesting.

Even though my descriptions of the two sites are extremely sub par, you should still check them out. Each site provides a different type of experience to share information you like. I showed my friends the sites, majority of them ended up signing up right away. Definitely consider stopping by both sites!  Cheers!
